Switch is a car-sharing, carpooling app for Italy and other European countries which allows users to handover their rented car to the other person instead of spending so much time looking for parking space. It also allows user to get a ride.
Approach
In four weeks
of time we needed to understand the problem space, The scope of work, Explore potential solutions and build some candidate concepts to test with with users
We used pivotal tracker to plan the project.
Because the client already had concept, We approached to this project in 5 steps
Research - Synthesise - Conceptualise - Prototype - Test
Every layout comes with the latest social features built-in. Readers will be able to easily share posts on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, view how many people have liked a post, made comments, and more. With the Wix, building your online community has never been easier.
Discoveries
While synthesizing the insights from users we found out that There is a very limited availability of parking spaces especially at peak hours.
People are concerned when using carpooling/ sharing, for parking in the specific or wrong location. Also, it take more time to park than Time it takes to find parking
They use car sharing apps mostly when computing late at night to see friends, when there is no public transport. Or if they need smaller car.
Drivers of shared cars need a way to handover the car to the next user, so they don't need to spend time finding a parking space.
User Journey
Solution
We came up with some divergent concepts that will be a solution to the parking problem. We built four of them further and converted them in wireframes.
Outcome
We built a clickable prototype based on the concepts and tested it with the users. Observed them if they are getting stuck anywhere or if they understand the language of the app.
After getting this feedback we iterated the wireframes again and presented it to clients.
